The Happiness Jones Band started like your typical band, jamming in a garage with aspirations of playing gigs and recording original music. Steve Barr (vocals, guitar) and Brian Bedwell (bass, bvg) started 2020 off with choosing a band name and playing several bookings. While the world took a pause, the Happiness Jones Band continued working towards their goals. In late 2021, Junior Huffman (drums, percussion) joined the group, and the ideal sound emerged instantly. 2022 was filled with gigs and festivals. 2023 has started off with recording sessions, bookings and festivals with an EP release in the summer.
The band's unique blend of musicality and expertise allows them to create fun, interesting takes on all genres of pop, rock, and country music covers, while composing original songs that take you to many places in your heart and mind.
